Terms and conditions


In consideration of The Corporation of the City of Guelph (the “City”) issuing me a bicycle parking permit, I hereby agree to:

  • Comply with all the provisions of this Parking Contract.
  • Notify Parking Services of any changes to the information provided above.
  • Use this permit only for myself and for the bicycle indicated above.
  • Be fully responsible for the cost of replacing this parking permit.
  • Notify Parking Services, by email, or otherwise in writing, at least 30 days before terminating the parking permit.
  • Park my bicycle in the Parking Facility in accordance with the rules posted there.
  • Not park any substitute bicycle at the Parking Facility without consent of Parking Services.
  • Not leave my parked bicycle, sitting unmoved, in the Parking Facility for 72 hours or more unless I have notified the Parking Office in advance.
  • Use the Parking Facility for the sole purpose of parking my bicycle, and not for the storage of any other items.
  • Take up only one bicycle parking space for my bicycle.
  • Not park two bicycles at the same time.

I also hereby agree that:

  • I am 16 years of age or older.
  • The City and all its representatives assume no responsibility whatsoever for loss or damage to my bicycle or injury to me.
  • I will inform Parking Services if I will be storing my bike longer than 72 hours.
  • Any attempt of fraudulent use of this parking permit may result in termination of this Parking Contract without adjustment.
  • The City will attempt to advise me in writing, at least one month prior, of any change to the parking regulations.
  • The City may terminate this Parking Contract at any time.
  • This Parking Contract and the parking permit are valid for one year from purchase date.

Collection of personal information


Personal information is being collected and will be used for the purpose of the administration and enforcement of parking permits.

Personal information, as defined by Section 2 of the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA), is collected under the authority of the Municipal Act, 2001, and in accordance with the provisions of MFIPPA.
