Request to speak at a meeting


For convenience and efficiency, members of the public interested in delegating to Committee or Council are encouraged to submit their request via the on-line delegation form. If uploading documents, the file size must be less than 20MB in size.

This information is collected for the purposes of notifying delegates when changes occur to the meeting or the issue they wish to address.  In addition, the City Clerk’s Office may contact delegates if clarification is required or any material submitted encounters technical difficulties.

Material for distribution


All material to be distributed to Committee of the Whole/Council, including electronic presentations, must be delivered in advance via this form, clerks@guelph.ca or dropped in the:

Office of the City Clerk
Guelph City Hall
1 Carden Street
Guelph, Ontario

Material must be received in the Clerk's Office by 10 a.m. on the Friday prior to the meeting in accordance with Procedural Bylaw (2016)-20087.


Collection of personal information


Personal information, as defined by the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA) is collected under the authority of the Municipal Act, 2001, and in accordance with the provisions of MFIPPA.

Personal information on this form will be used for the purpose of registering delegates, updating delegates on meetings, agenda matters, and materials. Your information may be made public through the course of a meeting and corresponding minutes.
